This hike was gorgeous, possibly the most beautiful of the series in my opinion. We had great views of the valley floor almost the whole way as the trail wrapped around the mountain towards the summit leading to a view of Palm Springs far far below. There's lots of shade and interesting rock formations on the way up, which had our group so enchanted we dawdled a bit and reached the summit later than planned. The last couple of miles are the steepest, with a bit of scrambling over large boulders to get you to the summit. The views are majestic, loved this route!
