If Strawberry peak smoked a crack pipe – this is how I would describe that last scramble to the summit of Mt. San Jacinto
🙄- but beyond that, this was one of the most beautiful (and challenging) hikes I’ve ever been on. beautiful running streams, hiking through the snow and mixed terrain, trying to figure out how to navigate a trail that wasn’t well marked, dense forest that opened up to amazing views, trying to breathe that thin air during some serious elevation gain and hiking back in the dark .. this experience was all the things ♥️ .. my only regret was not having enough time to build a snowman ☃️ .. bagged my first 10k peak baby, let’s gooooo!!!!
