Grabbed the chance for some great weather on Strawberry Peak before the rain/snow rolls in.
It’s a fun trail and one of the easier hikes in the challenge, but, I wouldn’t call it easy as it packs a nice little punch.
It was beautiful to see sun reflecting on the ocean as the sunset started to form—really beautiful 360 vista at the peak!
My only negative: It did seem like there were a lot of new hikers on this trail that may not have known uphill hikers have the right of way. No harm done, just a bit annoying when you’ve got uphill momentum going.
