My girlfriend and I started this hike around 11:21AM. It was a bit toasty but there were some parts of the trail where we caught a nice breeze. There were some shaded parts, but other than that it was nice and sunny. It’s been a while since I did a hike to a peak since I sprained my ankle (3+ weeks) but this one felt like a breeze. It felt good to be back on the trail. We powered it up to the top and made it there in an hour and 45 minutes. The last half mile climb to the peak was the strenuous part, but easily scalable. It wasn’t windy at the peak, it was nice and serene. There wasn’t too much foot traffic on the way up, but on our way down there was a handful coming up. Overall, a pleasant hike.
