Hiked from the parking lot on Mt. Pinos to the first peak (Pinos), the second peak (Sawmill), and the third (Grouse). There were a couple patches of snow, but nothing on the trail. The trail itself was clear and pretty well marked. Just remember to take the right spur trail as you get close to Sawmill to catch that peak with the Cairn and look for the pile of tree branches that mark the top of Grouse. The entire hike was at or above 8000 feet so the uphill portions go your blood pumping. I hiked this with my Daniel (my son) and Marbeya (my wife).
