It was a windy day! On the colder side but the air quality was great. After being grounded due to fires all September, it felt great to be out on the trails again in the sacred Chumash Wilderness! Easy to follow trail – started with bagging Mount Pinos at 8,848 ft. Not too crowded. It was wonderful to have such a variety of landscapes (hills, open plateaus, redwoods) all within one hike.
