We turned this into a afternoon/night hike due to my weekends getting busier with work. we got done with most of the flat part in the remaining daylight and got hit with full nighttime for the steep uphills. It wasn't as terrible as i would have thought. We did lose the trail once but quickly found it again. At the summit we signed the journal and found the Geocache hidden. We didn't stay long at the top because it was getting cold and windy. The way back down wasn't as bad as i thought it would be and we easily got back to the trail head. The Yucca plants that everyone seems to be complaining about weren't a huge deal. Sure they're on the trail, but they're also easily avoidable.
