This was my daughter's and my first hike to kick off the 6 peak challenge. We initially worried that we had the trailhead, but after reviewing the map again we were indeed on the correct trailhead. We found the initial mile or so before the big decision to go counter or clockwise to be pretty easy going. Great way to warm-up for what was ahead. With a 7 month old puppy in tow, we were thrilled that we read previous comments and went counter clockwise. The rock scramble is pretty impressive and we met several people struggling to get down. Eventually they had to slide down as that was the only option.

Overall a fantastic hike, some bugs, beautiful spring flowers and various terrains to keep you motivated to the top.  It is the prefect length and challenge to get you motivated for the other, higher mountain trails in the challenge.
