Relatively short hike that took just a little over 4 hours of out and back on a well-traveled trail with a good number of people on it. The drive up and back from the East Bay was a longer drive than the hike itself. Hot air balloons in the wine valley morning was quite the sight that made the early drive worth it. The trailhead was just a small parking lot. No fees, but also no restroom. I was hoping to grab an after-hike meal on the way home, but Apple Maps took me to Petaluma instead and I totally missed it until it was too far to turn around.
