The length of this trail and the last .36 of a mile to the summit are what put it in the “hard” category. Up to the last steep section to the summit, the incline is gradual and I'd considerate “moderate” as far as difficulty rating. Then you have the “hard” section right before the summit. There was a small muddy puddle/section just as you start up the last steep section that can be discouraging. If it has not rained in the last couple of days, just hop over that section and keep climbing, you'll find that the dirt is damp but not slick mud.

Beautiful views at the top. I started hiking at about 1pm and finished at about 5:30pm. Great hike, great workout, highly recommend.
