The trail I thought was pretty well marked with white sticks that said what trail it was and how many miles. The weather was perfect, not to hot but not cold. There wasn't much shade, just the beginning so this hike you wouldn't want to do in the summer. The last 1/2 mile was a very steep and narrow trail with lots of bushes surrounding the trail. The peak was beautiful, overlooking beautiful green rolling mountains, you could also see the ocean and in the distance you can see some cities (wasn't sure if it was long beach). Overall very beautiful fun hike with a new group of friends.
