Sitton Peak, off of the Ortega Highway, is a beautiful peak in the heart of the Santa Ana range. This 9.2 mile hike is notorious for its steep climb to the peak at the very last 1/4 mile. Basically, a scramble up to the top reminiscent of the scrambles up Iron Mountain in the San Gabriel mountains. Other than the scramble to the peak, the trail is a slow, easy incline/decline. Very manageable for all level hikers.
