Sitton Peak is a 10.5 mile out and back hike located near Lake Elsinore. There were thirteen of us that day, and at the time, a storm system was moving across the state. It was raining when we started, but it stopped as the day progressed. The trail however was muddy and running water was everywhere. Yes, LOL we got down and dirty, especially when we got to the last half mile to the peak. Once we got to the summit, the views were breathtaking. We had so much fun eating the pies and snack we brought with us. Going down was easier and to celebrate our success, we ate at a great Mexican restaurant and toasted to margaritas
