This one feels like such a hidden gem! It wasn't as consistently intensely steep as the other two we've done, although there was one section that took it out of me, and with the heat, even the more gradual inclines felt hard! But the scenery is so beautiful, and there's almost nobody on the trail. We got the top to ourselves and got to relax for awhile and enjoy our snacks and the sweeping views and the cute signs other hikers had left behind. And definitely make a stop at the candy store at the bottom! The proprietor knows hikers when he sees them and was ready for us with ice cold water and AC. Their maple candy is very yummy.
