First solo hike. Loved the alone time. Met some really nice people on the trail although one trail runner did startle me with his stealthy stride. Beautiful day out, the beginning of the hike is really cool, you get to a part that’s all overgrown, vines climbing trees, etc. you almost feel like you’re in a Louisiana swamp. The last half-mike up is a scramble and you’re pretty much climbing up the rocks. The view is worth it. Great hike. Watch your footing when going down the steep part so you don’t slip and fall… not that I did or anything. ????
