The trail was wet and muddy, a couple spots had deep mud but it wasn't too much of a problem. Small streams along most of the trail, perfect mid 60's light wind after noon. Stopped by the candy store on the way back and the cashier explained lots of people don't come well prepared for wilderness hiking, that lots of people get in over their heads trouble around Lake Elsinore and need SAR.
