Finally hiked Sitton Peak as Peak #1.  It’s been some time waiting to hike a six pack of peak trail because of all the rain that was hitting California in Feb.  I went with 4 other ladies and we left San Diego around 6am arriving at TH around 715am. It was cold starting with temp around low 40’s. I enjoyed this long hike.  Trail was easy to follow with good signage throughout.  Trail for the most part in good condition with some muddy areas but very doable to easily cross over.  As I had read in  previous logs about the steepness of the climb in the last 1/2 mile, I can completely agree this was the hardest part of the hike.  I thought going back down was better than climbing up.   I did use one trekking pole but kept the slipping to a minimum.  Good trail.  I would consider hiking this one again.

We also stepped inside the candy shop 🍭🍫
