2021 lessons learned: 2nd person on the register… and no cobwebs this year. I had made a point of getting to the TH later than last year (~8:30am on a weekday) so I wouldn't be the one clearing the dozens and dozens of cobwebs across the trail. 🕸 Happy to pass the torch after providing the service last year! 😆
Easy trail overall except for the last 0.36 miles before the summit – steep and a little slippery. Good starter six-pack hike for the season.
I like taking the Bear Ridge trail on the way down – more intimate trail with tons of wildflowers.
