Getting this first hike in before “the big storm”.  Perfect conditions – sunny, mild temperatures and no bugs this time of the year. I only saw two other people on the trail the whole time. Storm clouds were starting to roll in as I got close to getting back to the TH. With ominous headlines such as Southern California faces rare blizzard warning & Snowmaker storm of epic proportions moving into SoCal, it was time to get back to SD before the conditions deteriorated.  Sitton ended up getting a couple of inches of snow that evening.
