Getting off to a late start, but finally conquered my 1st of 6! We got an early start and I’m so grateful for that. Saw several people heading up on our way down and I’m amazed and impressed that they can do these hikes in the height of the day’s heat.
Going up wasn’t too bad. The last climb to the top was absolutely my favorite part of the hike!
Going down on the other hand… ???? Why was there so much “uphill” on our way down? Not sure why this uphill bothered me so much more than the uphill, on our way to the top, except maybe it was unexpected and I was tired.
Anyway, Sitton Peak is ✔️ Next stop, Strawberry Peak!
