I used Alltrails to make sure I was going the right way, which helped a lot. Since my group and I went a bit later in the afternoon, the sun was hot but the shade in the first half of the hike made up for it! The bugs were a bit annoying but it was durable. The last mile of the hike felt like I was in a never ending loop since everything seemed the same. Once I reached the peak the hardships of getting up all paid off, as usual. I would definitely hike this trail again when weathers are cooler.
