Started just before sunrise, thankfully. As soon as the sun was up it started to get pretty warm, though there was more cover than I was expecting. Trail is in good condition, but horses share it, so watch out for occasional piles! The hike is pretty easy for all but the last 1/3 of mile at which point it is quite steep. There are lots of trails around, so be sure to watch for the markers or keep an eye on your GPS. Views at the top are nice. Would recommend this hike as a conditioning hike on off weeks from the bigger climbs.
