Weather was overcast for most of the hike, so it wasn't hot, but the views from the top of the peak were obscured by fog for the first 10-15 minutes we were at the top and finally, the wind cleared the fog long enough for us to take pictures. The last .3 miles of the hike was a bit tough on the way up and also down, due to the slipperiness of the loose gravel on that section of the trail.
