This was a very pleasurable trail and the day was beautiful. Overcast with an impending storm but we finished before the rain.

There were spots where it was a bit muddy but it was easily managed. On the back half right before you hit the uphill to summit there is a water flowing over and through the trail as well but again manageable.

We opted to stay on the Bear Ridge trail both in and out instead of taking Bear Canyon trail which made for a slightly longer hike.
