I drove to the trail head from Palm Springs. The road to the trail head was good. The trail started in good conditions, but about two miles into the hike, the water erosion made the trail very slippery and dangerous more on the way down than the way up. A few sections had water along the trail. The weather was overcast, that made the hike nice without the heat of the sun, but the pictures are not bright.

I hiked alone, but since I started early, I was able to have company the whole hike up and down.

It took me almost five hours to complete, I started at 9 am and finished after 1:30 pm. But took many breaks on the last mile up. And went down very slow to avoid falling on my face.

It was a great hike that I look forward to doing again before it gets hot, but after there is no more rain.

Overall I feel wonderful!!!
