I wish we started a couple hours earlier than our 7am start because of the heat.  It took us a bit longer as we needed to stop more often (we clocked 1.5 hrs of down time).  The way down was very hot since the trail is on the south side of the mtn and very exposed.  Each person should have at least 3 liters of water with them if you're doing it in the summer, but this is a hike for spring and fall…not the dead of summer…beautiful nonetheless.  The peak was amazing with 360 views of all the surrounding mountains.
