Picked a hot day to summit our 3rd peak! The lizards were out in abundance enjoying the heat probably more than we did. But, that view at the top was worth the last ~0.3 miles of steep climbing. We came close to running out of water on the way down since we were hydrating aggressively due to the heat. So the candy store at the bottom was a very welcome sight, and huge thanks to the kind proprietor who directed us to the air conditioning and provided cold water! While we were there bought some locally made hot sauce and honey. A great hike overall.
