Overall, it was beautiful and a tad warm to hike today. The trail has shade on and off, and the breeze kept it nice. Lots of brush, grown pretty tall. Lots of beautiful wildflowers as well. The trail has alternating incline and decline so it’s a bit easier for this length and elevation gain. The trail get quite uneven and rocky in places, but decent conditions overall. The last 0.3 mi is the steepest climb, but if you pace yourself well, it’s not that bad. The hills are covered with dark green trees and it looks beautiful throughout the hike and even more from the peak
