The parking lot is closed right now so I had to get creative about parking by the road. There was enough space nearby when I went around 9am on a Saturday but it was getting pretty packed by then. That also meant no bathrooms nearby. However, the candy store near the trailhead was a nice addition to the overall experience. Very friendly staff!

Otherwise the hike itself was pretty nice and the weather was pleasant. It is a little overgrown but nothing too bad if you're wearing pants and maybe long sleeves.

The most difficult portion was the last stretch after the final fork on the trail. I would say the uphill isn't too bad but the downhill felt a bit dangerous. It's a bit slippery and I had to take it quite slow at times. The uphill on the other hand isn't too bad with some trekking poles. This portion is short so that's what makes it a little less painful.

The rest of the trail is fairly easy and straightforward.
