We started the hike at 6:30a to avoid the heat.  It was still crazy hot! We only passed a handful of people on our way to the peak.  On the way back, we saw may groups that started after 10a with very little water.  Bug spray made a huge difference.  Last .3 miles to the peak is a scramble…take your time to avoid injury.  Poles helped on the way down from the peak.
