Very clear vistas thanks to the recent Santa Ana winds, but it was also quite hot.  We took the Bear Canyon route to take advantage of the shade, and made good use of our bug nets.  There’s a good deal of up and downhill work on this one, and a steep scramble at the last .7 mile to the peak, but it’s highly doable and worth the views.
