Arrived to San Juan Loop parking at 7:10 and was able to get right on the trail. Be sure to have Adventure Pass visible for parking. The first section of the trail comes up Bear Canyon Trail to 4 Points. As other reviews mention, the last 0.36 miles to the peak definitely make you earn it, but aside from that the gain is moderate throughout. The morning was very clear, so the views from the peak were great. Temps warmed up quick once you get started, so bring layers. Trekking poles were very much appreciated on both the final ascent push and the way down from the peak.
