Perfect weather for a hike to Sitton Peak on St Patty’s Day.  There were no bugs on the trail.  The trail has parts that are rutted but you quickly adapt.  There was actually a tiny stream crossing which didn’t exist when I did this trail in December 2023.  Parts of the trail are exposed so best to start early to avoid too much sun exposure.  At the peak you get amazing views of Mt Baldy and San Gorgonio.

As luck would have it I encountered a couple blue jays on the trail and it was a lovely sight.
