Started the morning (7 am) with cloud cover/fog. Beautiful wildflowers along most of the route. Fun blend of oak woodlands and chaparral.
Though the trail is clearly hike-able, there are sections where erosion has left large gullies along the trail. Additionally, the brush is growing out into the trail in many sections, with limited signage. The last section is listed as “a scramble.” Ha! Definitely not wheel chair accessible.
By the time I reached the top, the clouds had pushed away down below; still obscuring the coast, but made for a beautiful view.
Not too many other hikers even on a Saturday.
