The excitement of hiking on my 60 DOB is hard to explain and adding my sidekick Divoc, my 3.5 year old Vizsla was a huge bonus. The drive to the trailhead was beauty full and being excited about the unknown made it very special. The conditions were great, but I missed my turn at the fork which could use a marker. I had the trail to myself going up until I passed a few hikers on my way down. The majority of my hikes are 12+ miles so something easy, short and sweet on my earth day made it so nice.
