Beautiful, clear day. Drove down to Henry Coe State Park early in the morning and started hiking shortly after sunrise. Similar to the Rose Peak hike, this one has several ridges to climb and descend before finally reaching the ridgeline that Mount Sizer sits on.
Took this one as a loop, and got a great tour of this part of California's largest state park. There are a number of water sources at this time of year, and campsites if you wanted to hike this as an overnight excursion.
Really neat place to hike, and one that I look forward to revisiting soon.
