Castle Craig/Dome is an amazing hike that has the feel of the dolomites at times. The trail was in great shape and we diverted over to Indian Springs, which was fun. We went as far to the top as we were able, and the views were indescribable.
We got an early start and only car in the parking lot, which was good because it got so very hot, over 100 that day. The trip down was more difficult than the trip up because of the heat.
