The washboard on the road was really bad – it destroyed our dust shield and my nerves.

We had a lot of smoke in the air, so the views were limited and breathing a bit tough.  The trail was in good shape and the tree/bush identification signs were cool.  We even saw a really cool snake.

The top had a lot of fire watch structures and a nice viewing platform – which would have been great without the smoke.

2 hour round trip, 4.5 miles.
