Kendrick Peak was a very very very enjoyable hike, and a lot less difficult then I believe it’s placement on the list, but still strenuous enough to be considered difficult. The open views throughout the trail were phenomenal, and the trail was smooth most of the way up, in contrast to the other trails. Tons of wildflowers and fern, not as many Pine due to the 2000 wildfire, but this allowed for the open views throughout. The old wooden lookout cabin near the top was a cool piece of history, and the conversation with the man in the current fire watchtower about the area was just as splendid. The views at the top were 360 of Grand Canyon to t he north, great looks of the San Fran Peaks, and of Sitgreave and Bill Willams. Overall the entire hike was smooth sailing and just incredibly pleasant.
