Fresh snow. We went the day after the storm. Roads were icy, chains needed. The trail was very easy to follow Despite all of the snow. I had plenty of layers so I wasn’t cold. The weather was great till you got to the ski hut. Ski hut was a little windy. The bowl was packed with snow so it did get a little harder and windy here and there. Once we made it to the summit it got super windy so we took our pictures and left ASAP. We went right back down the ski hut. No way we could have done the backbone with those winds
