Sunday Funday in the mountains for an EPIC snow hiking to San Bernardino Peak, total of 16.9 miles with 4,672’ total elevation gained and took us 10.5 hours to hike. We donned our microspikes and up the mountain we go. First snowfall of the season, perfect amount of snow—not too deep to need snow shoes and no ice to slip off trail – yet. It was just right. The mountains were so spectacular, but the snow made this hike even more challenging
. This peak also makes our #12 Peak in the 2019 Six Pack of Peak Challenge! What a way to finish! #hikebeyondthehills
