Went on the trail about 5 days after to rained. The main reason I went was to be able to hike in the snow! Hiking through the patches of snow was so beautiful! Be care thought as some spots on the trail are very muddy because of it. Once you reach the peak, the views of San Diego were breathtaking! My boyfriend and I enjoyed eating snacks and taking in the view. Love that there was also a wooded sign for a great photo op! Camped that evening at paso picacho.
