Started at 7 and parking lot was packed. There were lots of hiking groups. And everyone seemed to be going up and back down baldy bowl trail. We went up baldy bowl but came down devils backbone. The trail condition was awesome going up but sketchy coming down. There was so much fresh snow it was pretty awesome. It was way to cold and windy at the peak so we enjoyed our lunch after decending for a little to get out of the wind. Coming down, the trail was hard to find at first and there were pockets of snow up to our calves at some points.
