Went up the trail after a week of rain so a lot of the trail was covered in fresh snow. Crampons/microspikes were definitely recommended for certain sections.
There isn't too much of an elevation gain on the first half of the hike but things ramp up when you reach the “Strawberry Peak” sign. This hike has several false peaks so you keep going up and down and a couple sections have a bit of a scramble but nothing too difficult.
Views at the top are awesome, especially since the surrounding mountaintops were covered in snow when I went.
