It was a BEAUTIFUL day! Most of the snow had melted off the trail but there was still some sketchy icy areas that were microspike worthy for me! No sliding down the mountain for me! Not many people on the trail which was a surprise to me since I’ve hiked this trail before and the parking lot usually fills up fast…..but not today. It was a pretty brisk morning to start but surprisingly the peak was not too cold and no wind!! Yay!! Met some really cool PCT hikers along the way up and down the trail which was cool! Aannnnddd we encountered one girl hiking Baden Powell three times up and down while we were on our ONE hike!! She was a rockstar!! It was a good day for a summit hike 🙂
