This hike was super easy, didn't expect this hike to be this simple; but i do have to admit that the view from Mt. Pinos was magestic. Mt. Pinos seemed a location you would find in Oregon or Washington, never expected it to be in my back yard. The terrain was wide, easy, and clean, very well maintain. The Chumash are a Native American people who once believe that Mt. Pinos was the center of the world, and so it still is consider as a sacred peak to the Chumash. We extended the hike to Sawmill Mountain which made the hike even better, and seemed a little more difficult, but the extra miles made the hike worth wild. Green and luscious is the perfect words to describe this amazing location.
