Beautiful weather, very chilly in the morning and at the summit. Wish I’d brought gloves! The trail is very well maintained, and generally easy to follow, although we did rely on navigation a few times. It is the longest hike I’ve ever done, and I definitely felt it on the way down. Glad to have headlamps since we didn’t finish before dark.
