I will agree with others that the 1st 2.5 miles are hard as f-/k. After that it’s gentle and you’re allowed to appreciate its beauty without dropping f-bombs all over the place🤣🤣. I met a couple really cool cats, Al & Steve(what up fellas) about 1/2 way and we summited together. I did this hike 5 years ago with most of it being a blur, I was happy to bag Peak number 5. I must admit though Wilson and Baldy will continue to be my go to’s because I still have my entire day in front of me when I’m done and back to my truck by 10 or 11 and home by noon🤭 I’ll see you again next year San Jacinto for the challenge👋🏽
