Driving to the hike was dark, gloomy and rainy… just like everywhere else in SoCal for the past few months. So I was pleasantly surprised to see the sun poking out once we got to the trailhead! We started at 6:30am. There was only 6 other people on the trail that we passed. We summited by 9:37am. A little rocky… especially the last mile up. We were the only ones at the summit for a while. It was absolutely gorgeous at the top! Lots of sun. Tried to catch up on my tan. On our way back down, there were more people making there way up. Our dog enjoyed the hike as well, especially the creek.
