Great hike. Started at 10a on a Saturday, and the parking lot was predictably overflowing. “Truck trail” on AllTrails is misleading- the trail is narrow most of the way, so wear a mask when passing others. Some awesome individual(s) have put in labeled stakes at trail splits- this was helpful! I’ll echo others that it’s an easy walk except for the last half-mile- the incline suddenly gets very steep and the trail is dusty, making it easy to have your feet go out from underneath you- be sure to wear shoes with good tread.
